week 9

This week are liter bit different compare with other week..it is because I have learn about the history of the internet especially from ARPANET… Moreover there are some basic applications or uses of internet.. Nowadays the technology lie behind accessing the internet..so from that I would appreciate more on my internet connection… Other than that the language of the internet and relate it to other form of communication systems….. and the most important is , various ISP throughout the world….

In this week I also learnt about the safety issues pertaining to the access and use of the internet….. In addition the other possible issues that could raised with the development of internet applications and the rapid growth of the internet itself…………..

week 8

hye …..we meet again in this week..so I just go through what I have learn in this week ok?? Well I have learnt about the modifying and formatting Columns, rows, saving and printing worksheet.. its  easy for me because of I have learnt this in my secondary school . my lecture also teaches me about the basic functions like  sorting, outlining filtering data and how to formatting tables…

I also know about spark lines, pivot tables, how to working with chart and track changes.. all of this are allows us to organize data, complete calculations, make decision, graph data and develop report…  Furthermore I know how to create slides using a variety of slide layout designs,create a table for a slide, add picture to a slide, applying design to all slides and applying a transition effect to all slides….

 

    

Besides that I’m able to create and develop my own document by using application software….so until here I wrote my reflection so see yaaa..bye…

week 7

holaa…..this week I have learn about the basic of Microsoft word. From that I also learn to identify the components of the Microsoft office Ribbon, how to enter text in a word document and how to format the text. Besides that my lecture also teaches me to create and develop our own document using appropriate software. Before this I never know about the advanced features in Microsoft word as well.. for example modifying page layout and working with headers and footer. In Microsoft word  I also can check my spelling n my grammar..its was awesome. In Microsoft word I was able to use indents , tabs, line, paragraph spacing, working with list, breaks,  columns ,tables and hyperlink. In addition I also know how to working with shapes, text boxes, WordArt, clip art. Pictures, Smart Art, styles, themes and template.  I also learn about reviewing document and how to use merge for the table…so that all..see u next week..

          We had no class for this week.

week 5

I learn why and how Microsoft keep pace with the current and future needs and trends technology in providing the appropriate OS interface for this week. the tools and gadget of windows 7 that are worth to use by personal home users and small businesses.

I also know Windows 7, being the latest operating system from Microsoft and i also know how to manage files and folder in Windows 7. In Windows 7, have various folders with their function.
I also know how to identify the folder for the system use & as user.  Another thing is what are object in special folder and system tools folder.
That wahat i get from this week =D

week 4

For this week i have learn that computer are able to communicate with each other to convey human massage - if the right tools are given.

I also know what are the concepts and fundamental of a computer network.

communication medium is essential for a computer communication to take place. 

I also know what type of media that more popular in future.

Then i learn how LAN differs from WAN and the reasons for using them and different architecture associate to LAN.

Another thing there are ways to improve a computer network either a LAN or WAN type and also what are the characteristics or peer-to-peer and server-based network.
All this very useful for me.^_*

week 3

For this week i learn several levels for a user to be able to communiate with computer hardware. The software layers involved in the user-computer interaction and the components of a system software. I also learn how hardware depends on software.

I know to explain what and why we need a programming language.

when different language it also has different syntax and semantics.
It possible for end-user to write 'programs' without being gualified programmer.

I already know the guides and tips dealing with having application software for my computer and how to take care of it.Another thing is how to utilize my hard disk space when installing new software.
that all for this week hope more for other week. ^_^

week 2

This week i learn how to identify the basic computer hardware architecture. First Generation (1940-1950) is Vacuum Tube. Second Generation (1950-19640) for computer is Trasistors. For Third Generation (1964-1974) is Integrated. VLSI/ULSI is the Fourth Generation in 1974 until now. The fifth Generation is use for now and the future.

only now I know how computer begun and how it evolved until what we have today.

The various types , shapes, sizes and capacity of computer aroud us and not limited to PC only.

The 'black box' of a computer system. The internal operation inside the computer, led by the CPU. The architecture of a computer system. 

The various forms of input and output devices and also storage devices. The factors affecting the performance of I/O and storage devices.

week 1

hye.. this week i have learn about basic of computer..what means by basic computer is

input,processing,output and storage..

 Computer also  convert data (from input) to become information (as output)..

while  Processing ~ a set of interactions,known as programs or software...

 Besides that Hardware > physical part that we can touch it..

# Software > set of instruction which is related with instructions organized for a common purpose..(somethings that we can not touch it)

 

 

 lastly Computer only can read digits 0 and 1..
